Free template · snow removal

A snow removal quote template for the whole season.

Quebec’s consumer protection office (OPC) says a snow removal contract should state the dates, the amount of snow, the time limit, where the snow goes, the extra tasks and the price. The generator makes the season’s quote, with GST and QST.

A season quote, as an example

A fictional snow removal business, a residential driveway, the full season from 5 cm. A 50% deposit is shown; the balance follows.

Fictional quote from Boreal Snow Removal (example): driveway clearing for the season from 5 cm, steps and door access, 10 salt or sand visits, GST, QST, total $747.34 and a 50% deposit.

Questions4 answered

Common questions

Short answers.

01Do I need a written contract?
The OPC always recommends one: it is the record of your agreement. It has no required form, unless you sell door to door.
02What if I sell door to door?
That makes you an itinerant merchant: you need an OPC permit and a written contract with all the required information. You cannot ask for or accept a deposit within 10 days of signing, because the client can cancel during that time.
03Do I add GST and QST?
Only if you are registered for the GST and the QST. Registration becomes mandatory when your taxable sales pass $30,000 in one calendar quarter or over the four calendar quarters before it. Below that, you are a small supplier: switch off “I charge taxes” and the document comes out without taxes.
04Is the generator really free?
Yes. No account, no email to hand over. What you type stays in your browser until you download; the PDF is then drawn on our server and sent back to you. We do not keep your documents.
